Oops, looks like I left out a few details... Ephesus was fantastic, just as I'd heard. It's impossible to describe, but hopefully the pictures will turn out OK. I'll save the story of the crazy Turk who tried to get me to smuggle ancient coins to the US for another time, though...

The next day Tim and I went to the enormous Temple of Apollo in Didyma, a bit south of Kusadasi, then walked/hitchhiked up to the ruins of Miletus. We also wanted to go to Priene, but by the time we got out of Miletus it was too late; Priene would be closed by the time we got there.

Oh, and the cold turned into bronchitis; I saw a doctor and he gave me some antibiotics, of which I ran out yesterday. The cough is much better and my phlegm is clear again, but it's still with me a little. I hope it goes away soon!

OK, I've gotta go now. Hopefully I can log on again before Spain, but if not, I'll see you all on the 2nd!
